Is your sigma a compact pistol? The reason I ask is I purchased a glock 19 which is considered a compact. glock has a full size g17 a compact g19 and a subcompact g26 for examples. I’m still waiting on my permit so all i can do is walk around the house or property with my gun and it seems like the g19 is alittle big. I don’t know if its the holster {its a cheap one} or the gun is to big. I’m not a small man so hopefully i just need a better holster. just wondering if you experienced this with your gun when you first started carrying?
Keep in mind that slamming the slide forward on an empty chamber is a bit hard on the gun. You’re better off either using the slide release with snap caps or pulling the slide back and easing it forward.
