Kangroo Holster – Underarm Holster Review – DeepConceal.com

By chris July 16, 2009

I just got this cool new holster from DeepConceal.com

Kangaroo Holster

Yes, it DOES look like a funky ole man bra... but - it is a very comfortable way to daily carry when you sit down or drive a lot during the day.

The gun feels very secure next to your side. It's not the quickest way to access your pistol but it's nice to keep it off my waist sometimes.

Here is a video did of an "unboxing" and I tried it on for the first time.

These things are really cheap, priced at about $25 - $30. I got the larger model for "standard" sized weapons.

My S&W SW9VE holsters in it fine but the butt (as usual) prints a bit. I'm starting to see where a compact pistol would really come in handy here.

The SW9VE would be a good conceal carry if I used an outside the waistband holster with an untucked shirt but that's not really an option for me.

You showed a smart carry holster at the beginning. When you you be putting up a video review of this holster. I am interested in possibly getting it. I am researching a lot of different holsters and guns and belts and ammo. I am trying to find the “perfect rig” with out actual trial and error. I know I wont know for sure unless I try, but if everyone says this is a good combination then its a least a good starting point. Thank you.

    Hey Marc,

The smart carry holster review should be coming up shortly.

Yes, I’m trying to save people the time of having to try so MANY different type of holsters to find the perfect rig.

I think the kangaroo holster is quite nice… because I prefer the gun off of my waist that way it I can sit for long periods of time or drive or whatever…

The smart carry (as you will see when I post it) would be perfect with a slightly smaller gun and it’s very comfortable even though it’s RIGHT over your private parts.

florida doesnt get too cool, but when you start reaching for hoodies and jackets, research uncle mikes pro pak shoulder holster. easier accessibilty, looks cooler to wear, comfortable, and reasonably priced at about 50-60.

interesting website, i’m new to concealed carry too, so i’m very glad i found this site, lots of useful info here. just took my CHL class and mail out my application last week. don’t have a holster for my 1911 CBOB yet, still looking for the right one.

You should really look into getting you a Glock 30, I bought a Glock 21 for my first carry gun and I didn’t like the “butt” printing as you said. The Glock 30 isn’t a 9mm like your Sigma is but it definitely is a nice compact .45, just a suggestion man. And the price isn’t bad.
